Playing Their Parts: What Parents and Teachers Really Mean by Parental Involvement
Abstract
This report gives an over view of a survey of parents and public school teachers to find out what they think parents should be doing in the public schools. The survey, conducted by Public Agenda (a nonpartisan, nonprofit public opinion research and citizen education organization), turned up complex and subtle findings about what at first would seem like a simple issue.
